Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program
The department of Integrative Humanities and Social Sciences offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a concentration in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS). WGSS is an interdisciplinary field that combines theory, research, and practical approaches to train students in critical thinking around the historical, cultural, and social contexts that influence – and are influenced by – some of humanity’s most essential identities. WGSS graduates carry these competencies in to a complex, contemporary world, applying their flexibility and capacity to identify insights to careers public policy, education, healthcare, media, law, nonprofit organizations, and elsewhere.
