Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (Minor)

Minor course of study in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE). PPE is the interdisciplinary study of critical matters in social life and organization--such as the meaning of terms such as equality, liberty, justice, and democracy and institutions like markets and government--using methods of inquiry common to the humanities and social sciences. The minor is a valuable complement to majors in STEM fields and will be of interest to students looking for careers in public policy, organizational leadership, business and finance, and public service. Academic enrichment opportunities--such as research grants, conferences, and reading groups--are available to PPE students.
