Women's Center
The NC State Women’s Center fosters a sense of community and belonging through intentional programming and services that support student success and retention. Through our high-impact practices centered on gender and interpersonal violence prevention and response, students of all gender identities are offered the opportunity to expand their knowledge base, enhance their leadership skills, and explore activities for personal and professional growth and well-being, including receiving the affirming support and resources necessary to thrive at NC State.
Programming initiatives include: Fabulous Fridays, Book Club, Crafting + Connecting, MVMT Peer Educators, the Pack Survivor Support Alliance, several awareness months, an alternative service break trip to Guatemala, and volunteer and internship opportunities, among others.
Staff in the Women’s Center also serve as support for survivors of interpersonal violence (dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, etc.). Students can access services by calling the 24/7 Sexual Assault Helpline at 919.515.4444, or by emailing ncsuadvocate@ncsu.edu to request an appointment.
The NC State Women’s Center serves students of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. Complete information about our services and programs can be found online at: womenscenter.dasa.ncsu.edu
